ABOUT US
We help equity-deserving youth and Veterans secure meaningful employment through training and mentorship.
At Prince’s Trust Canada, we partner with employers and community organizations to provide free skill-building programs and mentoring that prepares you for the transforming world of work.
Our work is inspired by the vision of our Founder, His Majesty King Charles III, guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and powered by generous donors.
OUR FOUNDER
His Majesty King Charles III is a lifelong champion for youth, Veterans and the environment.

“For young people, the problem was not nearly the lack of opportunity represented by joblessness but the feeling that they were being left behind and it was clear to me that we should do something to try to make a difference.”
In 1976, when His Majesty (formerly His Highness The Prince of Wales) completed his duty in the Royal Navy, he came to the prescient conclusion that we needed to invest in youth if we wanted to build a better future.
His Majesty turned his belief into action by using his Navy severance to fund community initiatives targeted at youth, beginning the Prince’s Trust.
Near half a century later, the Prince’s Trust, and its international branches, have helped one million young people and Veterans around the world, including here in Canada with the Prince’s Trust Canada (PTC), founded in 2011 by His Majesty the King and The Hon. Hilary Weston.
